The School of Art is located in an emblematic building designed by the architect Fernando Garrido in 1968. The circular structure of the building makes all the spaces converge in an inner courtyard populated by lush vegetation, with a central fountain, and where a glass elevator facilitates the access of any user to the floors that compose it.
All the specialties taught at the school have workshop classrooms equipped with the necessary machinery and tools for the practical development. Photography has two sets, and Animation has a third set equipped with chroma key and sound booth. We also have other specific classrooms for the subjects of traditional graphic techniques, artistic drawing and technical drawing.
To all this we must add the existence of a canteen, a library, an auditorium, two exhibition halls and another of a more multidisciplinary nature, Fernando Garrido garden, which leads to the courtyard of Equality in which we promote coexistence between cycles.
In addition, our school considers environmental care a priority, hence its project «Inhabiting the Future» in which, from the point of view of infrastructure, we have invested in solar panels, clean energy that does not produce negative effects on our planet and that allows us to have the classrooms acclimatized throughout the year.
